From the moment we stepped foot into this hidden gem, we were greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality. The hosts were incredibly helpful, always going the extra mile to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. The cozy and pristine rooms were a breath of fresh air, equipped with modern amenities like free Wi-Fi, a car park, and even a dryer. We were pleasantly surprised to find an electric kettle in the room, perfect for enjoying a hot cuppa while taking in the stunning surroundings. And let's not forget the mouthwatering breakfast spread that was offered, truly a delicious start to the day. our experience at this charming home-stay was nothing short of mind-blowing - the perfect quiet getaway near Mount Cook. We are already counting down the days till our next visit!

It is a very nice place in a country town. The owners, Mary and Jim, could not be nicer and very helpful.

Our hosts at Heartland Lodge were incredibly friendly and helpful, suggesting places to visit and giving us great tips for exploring the area. The complimentary fresh fruit was a delightful touch, and the comfortable and attractive furniture made us feel right at home. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and the heater in the bathroom was a welcome relief from the chilly mornings. Despite a few minor inconveniences, we had a pleasant stay overall.

The breakfast selection was amazing, and there were plenty of choices for all tastes. The location was perfect, with stunning mountain views from the outdoor patio and garden. Additionally, the hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, lending us bikes to explore the town, and providing great advice on local activities.

While the room was clean and comfortable, there was a slight smoky smell when we first arrived, which the hosts promptly tried to fix. Additionally, the payment process could have been smoother, as we had to pay on the morning of check-in day, before we had even arrived at the hotel. our Christmas stay was enjoyable, and we would recommend this hotel to others.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, going out of their way to make us feel at home. The cleanliness of the room was spot-on, and we especially enjoyed the beautiful garden just outside our window. The breakfast provided was delicious and filling, leaving us energized for the day's activities. Additionally, the location was perfect - we were able to reach all the places we wanted to visit easily, including a Thai restaurant that was thoroughly enjoyable.

Nothing to complain about at all.

This hotel is the epitome of luxury. the exclusive amenities catered to our every need. the rooms were spacious and comfortable with private facilities that exceeded our expectations. the breakfast was exceptional and we left feeling truly spoiled. the location provided easy access to local attractions.

While there were no major issues, the payment process could have been more convenient, as it had to be done before we arrived. the exceptional service and exquisite room advantages compensated for this minor inconvenience.

During my Xmas stay, the location of the lodge was perfect with easy access to nearby attractions by car. the rustic cabin was cozy and fully equipped with a kitchen, making our stay more convenient. the welcoming hosts were helpful in providing us with directions to nearby places.

the cabin was quite pricey for what it had to offer in terms of amenities.

Located outside the bustling city, guests can enjoy a quiet stay close to major attractions. the hosts provide useful tips and take pride in their well-maintained garden. Spacious rooms offer beautiful views of the mountains.

Some minor complaints, such as a hard bed and unreliable wireless internet, can be overlooked for a short stay.

We stayed at this lovely B&B for a night on our way to Mt. Cook. The hosts, Peter and Jane, were welcoming and provided great recommendations for things to do in the area. The room was spacious and well-appointed, with stunning views of Mt. Cook. The breakfast was delicious and got us off to a great start for the day.
